Calendar for 2017 compiled by the Ministry of Labor Russian Federation with the application of the following legal acts: Labor Code of the Russian Federation, Order of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation No. 588 of 08/13/2009, Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 756 of 08/04/2016.

Production calendar for a six-day working week for 2017

Production calendar for a five-day working week for 2017

Working and holidays of Russians in 2017

I quarter: Holidays for the six-day working week - January 1-8, February 23-24, February 8, March 8. For those who work in a five-day mode, there are no additional days off. The total number of working days on the "six-day" is 68, working hours - 454, on the "five-day" - 57 and 454, respectively.

II quarter: Holidays for the six-day working week - May 1 and 9, June 12. The difference between the five-day working week is only in the festive May 8th. The total number of working days on the "six-day" is 75, working hours - 488, on the "five-day" - 61 and 488, respectively.

The third quarter of 2017 does not include holidays for workers on a six-day work schedule, as well as for workers on a five-day workday. The total number of working days on the "six-day" is 79, working hours - 520, on the "five-day" - 65 and 520, respectively.

Quarter IV: For those who work a six-day work week, the public holiday falls on November 4th. For the second category of workers, this day off is postponed to November 6. The total number of working days on the "six-day" is 77, working hours - 511, on the "five-day" - 64 and 511, respectively.

It is worth noting that the above norms of working hours are given for a 40-hour working week. We give general data for various work schedules:

  • the total number of days in a year is 365;
  • the total number of working days in 2017: 299 on the "six-day" and 247 on the "five-day";
  • total number of days off in 2017: 66 for a six-day work week and 118 for a five-day work week;
  • total hours worked in 2017: 1973 for a 40 hour work week, 1775.4 for a 36 hour work week, 1182.6 for a 24 hour work week.

If your working week does not fall under the hours norms described above (40, 36 and 24), you can calculate the number of working hours yourself: for this you need to divide the norm hours for a 40-hour work week by 40 and multiply by that number of hours that are installed by your employment contracts(in Week).

You also need to remember about the rights that are granted to working citizens by the Labor Code of the Russian Federation:

  • prohibition of work on public holidays;
  • reduction of the work schedule by 1 hour on the days preceding the holidays: the pre-holiday days in 2017 include February 22, March 7, May 8 and November 3;
  • if the holiday falls on a weekend, it is transferred to the next business day (the above are excerpts from the calendar, taking into account this rule).

In conclusion, we can say that knowing the production calendar and operating with information from it will prevent the employer from violating your rights.

Why do we need a production calendar for 2018 with a six-day work week? How many working days in 2018 with a "six-day"? What is the norm of working hours in this mode of operation in 2018? You can see the production calendar in this article.

General information about the production calendar

There are 365 calendar days in 2018. However, there are quite a lot of holidays in Russia. They are also joined by weekends (with a six-day working week - Sunday). How not to get confused and correctly distribute the norms of working time during the "six-day"? Moreover, if we are talking about accounting, then working days, holidays and weekends must be taken into account when calculating vacation pay, travel allowance and when reporting. For this, a production calendar for 2018 is being formed with a six-day working week.

Making a calendar for 2018

Article 112 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation defines non-working holidays, and Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation of October 14, 2017 No. 1250 “On the postponement of holidays in 2018”. These regulatory legal acts are the basis for the formation of the production calendar for 2018 with weekends and holidays.

What does the Labor Code of the Russian Federation say about non-working days

Non-working holidays in the Russian Federation are:

  • January 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 8 - New Year;
  • January 7 - Christmas;
  • February 23 - Defender of the Fatherland Day;
  • March 8 - International Women's Day;
  • May 1 - Spring and Labor Day;
  • May 9 - Victory Day;
  • June 12 - Day of Russia;
  • November 4 - National Unity Day.

Such a list of non-working holidays is fixed and does not change from year to year. It is enshrined in article 112 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation.

What transfers in 2018 do not apply to the “six-day period”

Article 112 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation provides that the transfer of days off is carried out in order to rationally plan working time in organizations and take into account the interests of various categories of citizens of the Russian Federation in creating conditions for a good rest. For these purposes, Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation of October 14, 2017 No. 1250 “On the postponement of days off in 2018” provides for the following shift of days off:

Read also The minimum tax rate for the self-employed may be 3%

Thus, in 2018 the following days off were postponed:

  • Saturday 6 January to Friday 9 March;
  • Sunday 7 January to Wednesday 2 May.
  • Also, to optimize rest time, we swapped weekends with working days (Saturdays will be working, and Mondays will be days off):
  • Saturday 28 April with Monday 30 April;
  • Saturday 9 June with Monday 11 June;
  • Saturday 29 December to Monday 31 December.

With a six-day work week, Saturdays are not days off, which means that these transfers are not provided for the six-day work week.

For those working on a six-day week, March 9, April 30, June 11 and December 31, 2018 will remain working days, since the transfer of days off to these dates is planned from Saturdays that coincided with non-working holidays, and for the "six-day" Saturday is not a day off.

In connection with the transfer of January 7 to May 2, employees with a six-day working week in 2018 will have two consecutive days off for the May holidays - May 1-2.

Shortened working days with a decrease in working hours by one hour in 2018 for workers on a six-day week will be February 22, March 7, April 30, May 8, June 11, November 3, December 31.

Work days

different from the calendar for the five-day work week. You will learn about its features from our material.

Where does the six-day work week apply?

In addition to the usual five-day working week, the six-day or six-day work was also widely used. Most often it is used in enterprises and institutions in the following areas of activity:

  • public canteens;
  • education (schools, universities, secondary schools);
  • public services (beauty salons, repair shops, dry cleaners);
  • jurisprudence (legal agencies, lawyers);
  • appraisal activities (real estate appraisal organizations);
  • insurance activity (insurance companies);
  • production (this does not include enterprises with a continuous production cycle) and others.

The use of six days is most often due to the peculiarities of the enterprise and the need to work on the Sabbath day.

Features of the use of six days according to the Labor Code of the Russian Federation

Like the five-day week, the six-day work week is provided for by Art. 100 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation. Sunday is the day off. At the same time, the time limit production calendar for the year 2016 with six days, which the employee must work out during the working week, should not be more than 40 hours, as in the usual five-day work (Article 91 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation). However, Art. 95 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation tells us that the duration of a work shift on a working Saturday with a six-day period should not be more than 5 hours. In practice, employers often have a question, how then to evenly distribute work time in a week? After all, it is not established at the legislative level.

Most often, enterprises that use a six-day week with a 40-hour weekly load operate according to the following scheme: the duration of the work shift from Monday to Friday is 7 hours, on Saturday - 5 hours. Having produced necessary calculations, we get:

7 hours x 5 days + 5 hours = 40 hours per week.

Under this regime, all requirements of labor legislation will be observed.

But such a schedule is applicable only for a 40-hour work week. Questions may arise for those employers who use a 36- or 24-hour six-day week.

With a five-day period, there are no questions. The weekly hourly load must simply be divided by 5 working days. After calculations, we get the following results:

  • for a 36-hour five-day work shift, the duration of the work shift will be 7.2 hours;
  • for 24-hour - 4.8 hours.

For a 36-hour six-day period, the following options are possible:

6.2 hours × 5 days (Monday to Friday) + 5 hours (Saturday) = 36 hours

6.4 hours × 5 days (Monday to Friday) + 4 hours (Saturday) = 36 hours.

A 24-hour week can be represented as the following graph:

4 hours × 5 days (Monday to Friday) + 4 hours (Saturday) = 24 hours.

When drawing up a work schedule for a six-day period, you should pay attention to 2 important aspects:

  • a working Saturday cannot last more than 5 hours;
  • weekly hourly load should not exceed the established norm (40, 36 or 24 hours).

Find out more about how the length of the working day can change depending on the circumstances from our material.

Production calendar for 2016 for the six-day period

With a five-day work schedule in 2016 there will be 247 working days, and with a six-day work schedule - 300 days. The increase in the number of working days during the six-day period is due to the work of employees on Saturdays. For the same reason, there are only 66 non-working days (weekends and holidays) with a six-day period, and 119 with a five-day period.

At the same time, the annual norm of working time should be the same as for the five-day period:

  • 1974 hours for a 40-hour workweek;
  • 1776.4 for a load of 36 hours;
  • 1183.6 for a weekly employment of 24 hours.

Holidays on six days

As noted earlier, with a six-day working week, there is only one day off - Sunday, in contrast to the five-day week. However, non-working public holidays are slightly different due to the working Saturday. Let's consider in more detail.

  • January.

The numbers from 1st to 6th, as well as the 8th of January, are holidays after the New Year. The 2nd falls on a Saturday. According to the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation of September 24, 2015 No. 1017, the Saturday day off on the 2nd should be postponed to May 3rd. But this applies to the five-day period. Since, with a six-day work week, the 2nd is a working day and not a weekend, it will not be transferred anywhere. And for Sunday, January 3, workers will have a rest on March 7, as with a five-day week.

Find out the working hours for January 2016 from our material.

  • February.

The same rule applies for Saturday 20 February, which is moved to Monday 22 February. Workers with a five-day work schedule will rest on the 20th (as their regular day off) and Monday the 22nd, which is the shift to Saturday. However, for employees with a six-day week, February 20 is a normal working day, as is the 22nd. At the same time, the duration of the working day on February 22 with a 40-hour week is reduced by 1 hour.

  • March.

Non-working days in March - the 7th day for January 3 and March 8 - are the same for both the five-day and six-day work schedules.

  • April.

April 30 is a regular working Saturday, but its duration will be reduced by 1 hour due to the holiday on May 1.

There are 2 holidays in May - May 1 and 9. Since the 1st falls on Sunday, which is a day off for the six-day period, it is transferred as a non-working day to Monday, May 2.

  • June.

In June, the 12th is a holiday and is moved to Monday the 13th, so the working Saturday on the 11th will be reduced by 1 hour, like April 30th.

  • November.

The working Thursday, November 3, is also reduced by 1 hour due to the following holiday non-working day on November 4.

  • December.

For employees with a five-day work schedule, December 31 is a non-working day, as it falls on Saturday. But for employees with a six-day period, this will be a normal working day, but its duration will be reduced by 1 hour.

Results

Production calendar 2016 with a six-day work week differs from the five-day one by the presence of another working day - Saturday. Its duration according to the Labor Code of the Russian Federation should not exceed 5 hours. Due to the working Saturday, the number of working days per year with a six-day period is greater than with a five-day period, and the number of non-working days is less. Holidays are the same for all types of working weeks, as established by labor law. The difference lies in the transfer of these days in cases where they fall on weekends. At the same time, the number of working hours per year does not differ.

In the payroll program in the calendar for 2017, all weekends and holidays, as well as transfer days, were put down. The computer issues when calculating the report card from the teacher additional education in February 2017, the standard of working time is 23 days, 68 hours, which seems doubtful. He has a six-day work week, working 3 hours a day. How many working days and hours should this employee have in February 2017?

Answer

Answered by Natalia Silantieva, expert

In accordance with the current procedure, the norm of working time for certain periods of time is calculated according to the settlement schedule of a five-day working week with two days off on Saturday and Sunday. That is, the norm of hours for the reporting period for a six-day working week coincides with the norms for a five-day working week. A different calculation procedure and different work standards depending on the schedule would lead to discrimination of employees.

Therefore, in February 2017 there are 22 working days and 6 days off.

A COMMENT
to the production calendar with a six-day working week for 2017

IN production calendar the norm of working hours for months, quarters and 2017 as a whole is given, as well as the number of working days and days off with a six-day working week with one day off.

According to Article 112 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation, non-working holidays in Russia are:

  • January 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 8 - New Year holidays;
  • January 7 - Christmas;
  • February 23 - Defender of the Fatherland Day;
  • March 8 - International Women's Day;
  • May 1 - Spring and Labor Day;
  • May 9 - Victory Day;
  • June 12 - Day of Russia;
  • November 4 - National Unity Day.

Regional legislation may establish additional non-working holidays in addition to all-Russian ones (part 1 of article 6 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation, resolution of the Presidium of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation of December 21, 2011 No. 20-PV11).

In accordance with the current procedure**, the norm of working time for certain periods of time is calculated according to the settlement schedule of a five-day working week with two days off on Saturday and Sunday. That is, the norm of hours for the reporting period for a six-day working week coincides with the norms for a five-day working week. A different calculation procedure and different work standards depending on the schedule would lead to discrimination of employees.

The general procedure for calculating the norms is carried out based on the following duration daily work or shifts:

  • with a 40-hour work week - eight hours;
  • if the duration of the working week is less than 40 hours - the number of hours obtained by dividing the established duration of the working week by five days.

At the same time, it should be taken into account that on the eve of non-working holidays, working hours are reduced by one hour (Article 95 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation).

In 2017, in the period from January 1 to January 8, three holidays coincide with days off - January 1, 7 and 8. At the same time, according to the second part of Article 112 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation, the Government of the Russian Federation can only postpone two days off from the number of days that coincide with non-working holidays on January 1-8. Therefore, according to the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation of August 4, 2016 No. 756, in 2017 the days off were postponed:

  • from Sunday, January 1 to Friday, February 24;
  • from Saturday, January 7 to Monday, May 8.

At the same time, since the transfer of the days off falling on January 1-8 to the following working days after the holidays is not allowed, then January 9 will already be a working day (part 2 of article 112 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation).

In addition, in 2017, a non-working holiday on November 4 coincides with a day off - Saturday. Therefore, according to the second part of Article 112 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation, this holiday is transferred to the next working day after the weekend, that is, to November 6.

Note! For a standard six-day working week, the transfer from January 7 to May 8 does not apply. After all, Saturday, January 7, is a working day for such a schedule, which means that a holiday and a day off do not coincide, and therefore there is no transfer of the day off. That is, May 8, 2017, with a standard six-day work schedule, is a working day.

For the same reason, the transfer from November 4 to November 6 is not applied, since November 4, with a six-day schedule, is a normal working day.

However, the absence of weekend transfers will not affect the procedure for determining the norms of time for the six-day period, since the norms are calculated according to the schedule of the five-day working week. And the norm of working time calculated in the above order applies to all modes of work and rest.

For example, in January 2017, with a five-day working week with two days off, 17 working days and 14 days off.

The working hours for this month are:

  • with a 40-hour work week - 136 hours (40 hours: 5 days × 17 days);
  • with a 36-hour work week - 122.4 hours (36 hours: 5 days × 17 days);
  • with a 24-hour work week - 81.6 hours (24 hours: 5 days × 17 days).

In 2017, with a five-day work week with two days off:

  • 247 working days, including three pre-holiday days - February 22, March 7, November 3;
  • 118 days off, taking into account three additional days of rest - February 24, May 8, November 6, due to the coincidence of public holidays on January 1, 7 and November 4 with days off.

The norm of working hours in 2017, taking into account the above, is:

  • with a 40-hour work week - 1973 hours (40 hours: 5 days × 247 days - 3 hours);
  • with a 36-hour work week - 1775.4 hours (36 hours: 5 days × 247 days - 3 hours);
  • with a 24-hour work week - 1182.6 hours (24 hours: 5 days × 247 days - 3 hours).

** Clause 1 of the Procedure approved by the order of the Ministry of Health and Social Development of Russia dated August 13, 2009 No. 588n, part 1 of article 95 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation.
